A Summer Day On Narragansett Bay

Rhode Island

Rhode Island has approximately 400 miles of coastline and is aptly named the "Ocean State." There's something special about a seagull's call and a dinging buoy that attracts even die-hard landlubbers to this 90-minute narrated cruise on lower Narragansett Bay. This 30 mile cruise will take you past ten of Rhode Island's most picturesque lighthouses and numerous scenic islands. You'll sail under the breathtaking Jamestown & Newport Bridges and past magnificent mansions, historic Fort Adams, and Hammersmith Farm, which was once home to Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, where she and John F. Kennedy held their wedding reception. You'll have a tour of famous Newport Harbor where gleaming yachts are anchored next to rusty lobster boats while sailboats tilt offshore in the wind. The 400-passenger Millennium has three viewing levels, outside sundeck seating, climate controlled interior seating, restrooms and a bar/galley with light fare for seagoing luxury. This truly is a one-of-a-kind cruise that you will remember forever. Before your cruise we'll enjoy a tasty lunch at the nearby 1149 Restaurant.
