Travel Policy – Reservation Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prices are per person, per trip and include all round-trip transportation, accommodations, meals, entertainment, admissions, tour escorts, guides, taxes and baggage handling as per the unique itinerary of each trip, unless otherwise stated.

It is the travelers’ responsibility to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to designated departure times. Any guest not arriving in time for departure may be left behind. Green Mountain Tours assumes no responsibility for guests arriving late at departure points at any location. 

All return times are tentative.

There is no smoking on any motor coach.

Green Mountain Tours welcomes passengers over the age of 21, except when noted.

To be fair to all guests, Green Mountain Tours assigns seats for motor coach travel in order of payment received. Seating assignments on motor coach travel or any other seating or room arrangements will be at the sole discretion of Green Mountain Tours.

Green Mountain Tours reserves the right to remove any guest who is interfering with the enjoyment of others.

Any person reserving or purchasing any of Green Mountain Tours products accepts the condition that Green Mountain Tours reserves the right to change or cancel itineraries, hotels and other tour components at the sole discretion of Green Mountain Tours. If this occurs, efforts will be made to offer alternative dates or programs.

Trips depart in all weather conditions at the sole discretion of Green Mountain Tours.

Discounts and offers may not be combined

Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa, or by sending a check or money order.  All rates are guaranteed upon payment or deposit.

Please include the name, address and phone number of each traveler; along with date of trip with your check to ensure reservation.

All phone reservations are considered tentative and subject to cancellation until payment is received.

GENERAL DISCLAIMERS

Neither The Upper Class, LLC, Green Mountain Tours, its affiliated entities and its and their employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns (collectively “The Upper Class”), own or operate any person or entity which is to or does provide goods or services for these trips. Because neither maintains any control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers, Green Mountain Tours assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent, willful or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the suppliers or other employees or agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers, or (3) any wrongful, or negligent act or omission on the part of any other party not under the direct supervision and control of Green Mountain Tours.

CANCELLATIONS

For Day Trip Reservations:

Full payment (less a $5 per person fee) is refundable up to two weeks prior to the tour date.  A 20% cancellation fee 14 - 7 days prior to the tour.  A 50% cancellation fee 2 - 7 days prior the tour.  No refunds will be given within 48 hours of the tour. The lone exceptions are trips that include tickets for shows.  If the show tickets cannot be resold, higher penalties will apply.

For Multi-Day Reservations:

1. A deposit of $100 per person for all tours must accompany your reservation in order to hold space permanently.  Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.

2. CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS, & REFUNDS: Regardless of reason, cancellations and transfers are costly.  To offset these expenses the following must apply:

$50 per person on all multi-day tours if notice is received more than 45 days prior to departure.

$100 per person on all multi-day tours if notice is received between 

31 - 45 days prior to departure.

50% fee on all multi-day tours if notice is received between 7 - 30 days prior to departure.

No refund on all multi-day tours if notice is received less than 7 days prior to departure.

In certain special instances such as cruises or airline travel, the cancellation penalties may differ.  However, by purchasing cancellation insurance, you will be covered regardless of the cruise line or airline penalties.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the date issued. 

In fairness to all guests, we cannot make exceptions on the above policies.

Green Mountain Tours is not responsible for events cancelled out of our control. Where possible, Green Mountain Tours will make efforts to secure alternate arrangements at our discretion. If Green Mountain Tours is provided a rain check for a cancelled event, the rain check becomes the property of the traveler and Green Mountain Tours assumes no further responsibility.

Green Mountain Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason. Refunds will be given for trips cancelled by Green Mountain Tours. If Green Mountain Tours is forced to cancel a tour due to an Act of God, compensation is at the sole discretion of Green Mountain Tours.

Guests may be photographed for the promotional purposes of Green Mountain Tours. 

PERSONAL PROPERTY DISCLAIMER

Green Mountain Tours is not responsible for, and does not assume any liability or accept claims for loss of, or damage to automobiles or personal property due to vandalism, breakage, theft, wear and tear or a guest leaving an item(s) on the bus or during a trip.
