In the summer of 1960, a teenage girl from Brooklyn walked into a Manhattan recording studio and started writing the songs that would shape a generation. Her name was Carole King. Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of Carole King's remarkable rise to stardom from being part of a chart-topping songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history and a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.. She wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
