America's Little Switzerland

Today we travel to the quaint village of Jim Thorpe, PA one of the most photographed towns in America. Nestled in the picturesque Pocono Mountains, the town, dubbed America's Little Switzerland, looks like a Victorian movie set. The town's center piece, The Asa Packer Mansion, was even the inspiration for Disney World's Haunted Mansion! Tour the elegant 20-room mansion preserved with elaborately carved wood paneling and original furnishings from the 1800s. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a scenic train ride through the beautiful Lehigh Gorge State Park and along the winding Lehigh River. Begin the day with lunch at Molly Maguire's Restaurant, the town's oldest pub!
