The National Cherry Blossom Festival is the nation’s greatest spring celebration in the heart of the capital! Join us for a long weekend of patriotism, pageantry and fun in DC!

Day 1 - Welcome to Washington (D)
Arrive to a capital greeting at a reception with a complimentary glass of wine or beer. Spend three nights at the The Hilton Garden Inn in Arlington, located just across the Potomac with easy access to the city. Tonight, enjoy pub classics during dinner at the Elephant & Castle.

Day 2 - Telecast Seating, Parade and Festival (B, D)
The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade is a spring tradition in the capital. Enjoy the parade from reserved seats in the grandstand, the prime performance location. Giant balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands and performers of all kinds present a grand spectacle of pageantry directly in front of our seats!

After the parade, the day is yours to enjoy Downtown DC. With the festival in full swing, many areas will be closed to traffic, perfect for strolling The National Mall. Visit the National Archives and the Smithsonian Museums including the Air & Space Museum, The Museum of American History, Museum of African American History, Natural History Museum, all with complimentary access!

Enjoy dinner at Tony & Joe’s Seafood Restaurant in Georgetown.

Day 3 - A Monumental Day (B)
Today, see DC from land, water and moonlight! Begin with a driving tour featuring the Lincoln, Korean, Vietnam, Martin Luther King and World War II Memorials, with several stops for photos.

After time for lunch on the waterfront, cruise the Potomac River with views of the Jefferson Memorial, Kennedy Center, Washington Monument and Arlington Memorial Bridge. The cherry blossoms will make the views even more beautiful!
Enjoy dinner on your own before a moonlight monument tour under what experts predict will be an almost full moon!

Witness monuments and landmarks against the night sky, including the White House, the US Capitol, a must-see evening viewing of the World War II Memorial and more. Disembark for visits at the Jefferson Memorial and the Iwo Jima Memorial.

Day 4 - Arlington & Georgetown (B)
This morning, visit Arlington National Cemetery on a guided tram tour. Witness a poignant tribute during the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and be inspired by the Eternal Flame at the Kennedy Gravesite.

Then, head to Georgetown with plenty of time for lunch and shopping on your own. Soak in the ambience of this charming area before heading home.
