New York City's Great Houses of Worship

The Holy Places of New York City

Experience the Glory of Gotham as we discover some of the most beautiful houses of worship in New York City. Specific to the culture of their faith, each of these religious buildings feature spectacular architecture and design. Visit a Hindu Temple, a Jewish Synagogue, a Middle Eastern mosque and finish the day at the Cathedral of St. John The Divine, the largest cathedral in the world.

From your private guide, learn about the influence of religion and how these holy places have helped shape much of NYC’s history.

Along the way, enjoy a three-course, family-style lunch at La Mela in Little Italy.

Please join us in being sensitive and showing respect when entering all houses of worship. At the mosque, there is a dress code requiring women to wear pants or long skirt, long sleeve shirt and a scarf or other headcovering. Religious sites are subject to last minute changes. In this event, an alternative will be provided.
