Countdown To 2021

Our latest schedule update and announcement related to traveling in the face of Covid-19.

Thank you for all of your thoughtful calls, emails, cards and messages over these last few months. Your support and kindness mean the world to us. Now more than ever, we are so grateful for our Green Mountain Tours family.

Together we have witnessed unimaginable changes in our world. A few short months ago we were on the road enjoying trips and planning our best year yet. We are so sorry that we haven’t been able to travel with you and share new experiences. Seeing you enjoy our trips is the entire reason we do this job.

Our first priority has been and always will be the well being of our guests and our staff. This means doing everything possible to ensure your safety, security and health on every trip.

In this new world, we must consider the warnings from the CDC limiting large groups, continued social distancing requirements and the latest news about an increase of cases in various parts of the country.

NEW CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
In the face of this continued uncertainty, we have made the heartbreaking decision to cancel all of our scheduled trips. This includes all 2020 trips and the few that were rescheduled for 2021. We will continue to evaluate the situation and will start fresh with a new collection of trips as soon as the time is right.

Customers holding bookings for cancelled trips will receive a full refund. The refunds will be processed as quickly as we can and should appear on your statement in the next few weeks.

KEEPING OUR PROMISE
On every trip, you put our trust in us and we make a promise to you. We promise you more than a trip, we promise your safety and health to the very best of our ability. We truly hope you understand we made this decision out of concern, respect and love for you and each member of our Green Mountain Tours family. It's incredible, but right now, not traveling is the best way to show our love and keep our promise.

MORE CHANGES
As you can imagine, these changes have an enormous impact on our company, especially our team. We have been forced to furlough our entire staff. We did everything we could to avoid this, keeping everyone paid through the end of June.

However, we are left with no choice. We are beyond grateful for their loyalty and incredible hard work during staggering difficulty. We are humbled by their dedication.

STAYING IN TOUCH
For the time being, we will no longer have official office hours. The best way to get in touch with us is to send an email to info@greenmountaintours.com.

When calling the office, you will be able to leave a message. Please understand with such reduced staff, response time will be different than usual. We will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

THE FUTURE
We are already thinking of the future. We are working hard to be able to travel with you again as soon as the time is right. Due to the fast-changing nature of these extraordinary circumstances, we don’t know when that will be. We are looking forward to that moment with excitement and joy. We hope you are too.

A PAUSE FOR NOW
When the time is right, we will start fresh with a new schedule and new trips. In addition, there will be new protocols to ensure we can travel safely while still providing the Green Mountain experience you expect and deserve.

For now, the company will be on pause as we wait for that time. Please know we are always working to be able to get back out on the road with you.

In the meantime, we will be here. We will continue to stay in touch with email and on Facebook, sharing online content and virtual tours. Trips are on pause, but we are far from gone.

THANK YOU
When we say Green Mountain Tours is a family, we mean it. It is because of this family that Green Mountain has been traveling with you for almost five decades. And it is because of this family that we will weather this storm, stronger together.

We look forward to the day when we can be on the road, enjoying new trips with good friends. When that day comes, we hope you will join us again!

It is impossible to convey the depth of our gratitude to our guests and our staff. For now, with all our heart, we must simply say, thank you.

All our very best,
Debbie, Andy and Brooke
