HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW & GARDENS
An enchanting day awaits you as we visit the New York Botanical Garden for their Holiday Train Show. This cherished New York City holiday tradition features model trains and trolleys winding their way through replicas of more than 150 New York landmarks under thousands of twinkling lights, all within the warmth of the country’s largest Victorian-style glasshouse, the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
Step into a city in miniature where famed New York architecture is recreated using bark, leaves, and other natural materials. You’ll spot familiar sights such as the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, and Yankee Stadium. Large-scale model trains cover nearly a half-mile of track to bring life to this traditional holiday landscape. We’ll begin the day with a delicious lunch at Emilia’s Restaurant on Arthur Avenue.
